The Carrickmacross Town Festival 2009 will take place from Friday, 29th May
- Monday, 1st June, 2009.

Some of the entertainment on the street this year - Thursday, 28th May to Monday,
1st June 2009.

Thursday is the final of the Festival King & Queen.

The new King & Queen will lead the parade on the Friday at 8pm followed by many street entertainers, including Kilkenny Samba Band, stilt walkers, Cavan Samba, jugglers, dancers in amazing mardi gras costumes, walkabout characters plus much more fun and entertainers.

Bands on the main stage include The Undercoats, Froud, Blue Moose, Sanzkrit plus many more exciting tribute bands such as Queen and Madness to name but a few.

A selection of country and Irish music and the return of Ritchie Kavanagh.

All day every day French Market, Farmers Market and a selection of hand made crafts
on many stalls.

World of Owls displaying exotic falcons, eagles and reptiles.

Carrickmacross Fire Brigade display one not to be missed.

Kids entertainment with puppet shows, sword jugglers, the amazing Keith Edward’s magic show and of course the ever popular Teddy Bears Picnic.
